Agreement

The website ALCEDOTUNER.COM (including any subdomains, including, but not limited to APP.ALCEDOTUNER.COM) is owned and operated by Dr. Retzler András (hereinafter referred to as "Owner"). This Agreement documents the legally binding terms and conditions attached to the use of the website at ALCEDOTUNER.COM. By using or accessing ALCEDOTUNER.COM in any way, viewing or browsing ALCEDOTUNER.COM, or adding your own content to it, you (hereinafter referred to as "User") are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Use.

Our mission is to help you tune with ALCEDOTUNER.COM. To protect this mission, we have to set some terms.

Disclaimer

The whole content of ALCEDOTUNER.COM is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. In no event shall the site Owner be liable for any claim, damages or other liability, arising from the use of this website.

The Owner reserves the right to remove any material submitted to the website, and also to reject, disable or revoke any registrations and the corresponding API keys.

If any copyright infringement is noticed on the website, please send an e-mail to [click to reveal email] to request removal.

The website makes use of AI generated content. The User may be presented with text, images, and tuning iterations generated with AI technology. The User understands the implications of the use of AI generated content, and its responsible use. The Owner is not liable for any damage arising from the use of any AI generated content that has been made available through ALCEDOTUNER.COM.

The User can connect a system to ALCEDOTUNER.COM, in order to automatically adjust its tuning settings through a specialized Application Programming Interface (API). The Owner does NOT endorse directly connecting ALCEDOTUNER.COM to a system of physical nature, to automatically manipulate it. The User specifically accepts to implement safeguards that no command from our server to their systems can cause any damage to property or human life. The use of the output of the website (including tuning commands) is entirely the responsibility of the User.

You can use it, but we do not provide any warranty on anything. For example:
  • We are not responsible for any consequence if the site becomes unavailable or leaks your data. We do our best, but these can happen. (Welcome to the Internet!)
  • Due to technological limitations, AI generated content can contain false information, or, in special cases, even infringe other peoples' copyright. If you have a problem from this, that's your problem.
  • Connecting an AI system to a physical system directly is not just risky, it is extremely risky. We don't say that you should tune a machine with this initial version of ALCEDOTUNER.COM, but if you do, and it breaks itself or it breaks something else, it's not our responsibility.

Terms Related to the Research Preview

The User accepts that the current version of ALCEDOTUNER.COM is a pre-release research preview. When the Owner moves to the final release, the Owner might delete all the site data without notice and restart it from scratch. The Owner is particularly not responsible for any damages arising from this.

By submitting content to ALCEDOTUNER.COM (including but not limited to tuning configurations, parameters, and results), the User grants the Owner a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, and publish such content for research and educational purposes. Where possible, such content will be anonymized before publication.

This version of the site that you are using is not meant for production yet. We might delete all your data at any time.

In addition, we might use your tuning setup or iterations (anonymized) as examples in our research papers.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Belgium, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of ALCEDOTUNER.COM shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghent, Belgium.
